A Citrus- Clean
Our citrus solvent cleaner is a healthier, more effective way to clean and protect your carpet and furniture. It has the ability to maintain the appearance of carpet and furniture, and at the same time, minimize allergens in the carpet.
The Citrus-Clean solution when combined with an antimicrobial, has provided relief from allergy symptoms for many of our clients including a reduction of mildew problems and reactions to dust mite residue.
The citrus is very effective against grease, soils, and pet stains. It also fights the yellowing and oxidation that can dull your carpet. Our Citrus-Clean formula cleans and treats you carpet without leaving a sticky, soapy, or chemical residue. What Is It Made of?

Natural Ingredients
We use a citrus solvent extracted from citrus peels called d-Limonene. The rinds and pulp are sent to an evaporator and the d-Limonene is steamed out. It is widely known for its pleasant scent and degreasing properties.
D-Limonene is currently being used in many applications such as chlorinated solvent replacements, hand cleaners, and sewage treatments.

Environmentally Friendly
Since the d-Limonene is extracted from natural resources (i.e. orange and lemon peels), the solvent does not add any materials into the environment other than those that would occur naturally. Therefore, it does not contain any ozone-depleting chemicals.
Using naturally derived solvents such as cleaning agents, is an excellent way to reduce our environmental footprint and will help preserve our ozone layer and the quality of our drinking water. D-Limonene is biodegradable as well.
Citrus-Clean also uses Procyon, an odor and soap free cleaning agent that has won multiple certifications including Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Asthma & Allergy, No Volatile Organic Compounds (No VOCs), Performance Testing Laboratory, Carpet & Rug Institute Approved, and Green Seal Certifications. Our Cleaning Process
​Our Citrus-Clean carpet cleaning process uses a citrus-based solvent cleaning solution. This outstanding formula eliminates the residual problems caused by steam, shampoo, and chemical cleaning, so your carpets stay cleaner longer.​
SPRAY
We begin with a pre-spray of the entire carpet with our Citrus-Clean solution.
SCRUB
We then use a rotary machine with a Dirt Napper system. This bonnet and brush system cleans the carpet fiber and wicks up debris from deep within the carpet.
Why It Works
The key to this cleaning process is in the remarkable ability of the citrus solution that repels the dirt and most stains from the carpet fibers without using soaps, shampoos, or harsh chemicals. Our cleaner is natural and powered by citrus cleaning agents extracted from citrus peels.
How It's Different
​
The Citrus-Clean process does not leave any residue in your carpet, unlike other carpet cleaning services that use water extraction to remove a portion of the soap solution used on your carpet. They are never successful in removing 100% of the soap solution. Because this soap solution is not completely removed, dirt will immediately begin to adhere to the carpet fibers. Carpets cleaned with our Citrus-Clean solution is constantly repelling the dirt from the carpet fibers. With a weekly vacuuming program, your carpet will stay cleaner, longer.

Multi-Surface Usage
​
Your upholstery is cleaned using the same Citrus-Clean solution used in cleaning your carpet. First, we apply a light spray of it to the fabric. Then, we hand-rub the furniture. The our citrus solution is essentially repelling the dirt from the fibers, and the cloth removes the repelled dirt from the surface. Normally, it will take about a half-hour to completely do a sofa, and in the process, we will use a half-gallon of our cleaning solution. The furniture is now clean and will be dry in a few hours.
